Mentoring Through Media is a movement dedicated to reimagining mentorship and expanding the ways mentors connect with young people. We also reinvent media possibilities by creating new platforms and forming strategic alliances with existing media outlets to develop impactful segments, programs, initiatives, and innovative uses of media that inspire youth.

 

We leverage our relationships within the entertainment industry and media to create original music, media content, films, and blogs, while also sparking conversations around existing music, movies, and trending media that young people already engage with. We collaborate with influencers and artists to expand our reach, amplify positive messaging, and connect with youth through voices they already trust. Through interactive experiences and engaging programming, we create meaningful impressions that highlight youth achievement, expose career pathways, and help young people discover purpose—right where they already are: on their phones and social media.

 

While Mentoring Through Media is not solely a virtual program, our strong digital presence allows us to expand our reach, increase engagement, and remain consistently connected to youth beyond traditional settings. We believe many mentoring programs fall short because they lack cultural relevance and fail to maintain consistent virtual connection—two critical elements in effectively reaching and influencing today’s youth
